Description:

Apixaban is an oral anticoagulant that selectively inhibits Factor Xa, preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. It is used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation and for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
